Jerry & Karel’s Adventures
We are Jerry and Karel, and have been married 40+ years, and have 2 amazing kids. We have camped our whole marriage- for about 15 years in various tents, which were tall enough to stand in (easier for Karel to change clothes). After many leaks in torrential downpours, a broken door zipper, and raccoon visits, we “upgraded” to an OLD and very used Class C motor home. The kids loved the “Brown Bus”, but it also had leaks and issues, so after just 3 or 4 years we moved up to a travel trailer- and LOVED it! The kids thought sleeping on the dinette and the couch was great fun, and we made many wonderful memories.
We finally upgraded to our Montana 5th wheel trailer 3 years ago, in preparation for our retirement adventures.
As we have traveled, we would occasionally have things go wrong- like the leaky tents and motor home previously mentioned. Sometimes things happen, and we have always looked at those as “adventures”- we then have opportunities to have different experiences than what we may have planned- and they almost always turned out great!
So come join us as we start our next adventure- Retirement!
