Easy peasy
We have really taken it easy the past 2 days. We ran some errands, got haircuts, did laundry– normal adulting stuff. Once that was done today we tool a drive to Barea, the artisan capital of Kentucky and visited the Artisan Center. They have information about Kentucky, plus an amazing gallery of items made by artists here in Kentucky- and there are some really talented people here! We say paintings, pictures, furniture, baskets, jewelry, glass, quilts, pottery, scarves, candles, food, etc.! I loved it, and Jerry was a really good sport as I tried to look at everything.
We then went into Barea, where there is an artist colony, with many workshops and galleries. Most were closed today because of the holiday, but I definitely want to come back.
We made one last trip to Buc-ees for a brisket sandwich- they really need to build a bunch more across the country!
After getting ready to travel tomorrow we hung out in the pool- it sure felt good, because it was in the high 90’s here!
All this traveling has resulted in a couple rock chips in the paint on the trailer, and Jerry fixed those today. One of the chips was amazing- take a look:
Maybe it signifies we love camping? Tomorrow we head to Indiana!
